As a civilian employee at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Adam played a vital role in enhancing quality of life for active-duty Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families. He oversaw recreational programming that ranged from managing a full-service center to organizing tournaments, special events, and off-base excursions—all designed to foster community, morale, and well-being. Through these efforts, he delivered enriching experiences to more than 2,500 participants, creating meaningful moments of connection, exploration, and fulfillment for those serving our nation.

Recreation Center and Leisure Activities. Oversaw daily operations of an on-base recreation center serving active-duty Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families, offering amenities such as an internet café, TV lounge, billiards, and table tennis. Planned, promoted, and executed weekly sports tournaments, large-scale base activities, and off-base excursions designed to enhance morale, foster community engagement, and enrich the quality of life.
Staff Managment and Performance Improvement. Led and mentored a team of six active-duty personnel, overseeing weekly scheduling and operational assignments while fostering their growth through targeted training, coaching, and performance development. By cultivating a supportive and high-performing environment, helped each team member build critical skills, gain confidence, and advance professionally within their roles.
Fiscal Leadership. Managed a $250,000 annual operating budget with precision and accountability—consistently delivering activities, programs, and off-site excursions at or under cost targets. Leveraged strategic planning and vendor negotiation skills to secure cost-effective service contracts with sponsors and providers, maximizing value while enhancing participant experience. Disciplined approach to budget management ensured responsible stewardship and measurable impact.
In-House Transportation Lead. Recognized an opportunity to increase program agility and reduce reliance on external vendors. Proactively obtained a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to fulfill transportation needs in-house by utilizing department owned 36-passenger shuttle bus—allowing department to conduct off-site excursions and events with greater scheduling flexibility and responsiveness. This initiative improved operational efficiency, enhanced the participant experience, and contributed to measurable cost savings. By internalizing this capability, reinforced commitment to resourceful leadership and mission support.
Air Show Vendor Exhibit Strategy and Logistics. Planned and managed the vendor exhibit area for an on-base international air show, overseeing layout design and space allocation to optimize visibility and return on investment for each exhibitor. Negotiated logistics and placements to enhance attendee engagement and brand presence, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all civilian participants. Executed day-of exhibit area marketing and coordination to support exhibitor success while maintaining compliance and operational integrity.

Air Show Hospitality and Relations. Contributed to the air show’s post-event hospitality efforts as part of the MWR team that welcomed and hosted military performers, aviation crews, and VIP attendees at the base golf course clubhouse, "Mulligan's." Supported a relaxed, celebratory environment that fostered goodwill and camaraderie among domestic and international participants following the formal event.
